Our Assessors
All Fire Risk Assessments are undertaken by our experienced,
professional team, which includes former London Fire Brigade
Fire Safety and Enforcing Officers, Institution of Fire Engineers
(IFE) members and approved Life Safety Fire Risk Assessors.
All Fire Risk Assessors are required to demonstrate at least 5 years of relevant experience and must have received formal training in Fire Risk Assessments in courses recognised by the IFE or equivalent. As a company we are corporate members of the Institution of Fire Engineers, and our assessors are required to demonstrate continued professional development by undertaking CPD activities throughout the year.
We employ Fire Risk Assessors who are members of the
Institution of Fire Safety Managers (IFSM).
Our Fire Risk Assessors hold the 'FDIS Fire
Door InspectionDiploma' scheme operated
by the British Woodworking Federation.
We are also a member of The National
Association of Fire Door Inspectors (NAFDI).
Delco Safety has been appointed onto Fusion21’s Building Safety and
Compliance Framework, to carry out Fire Risk Assessments and Fire
Safety Inspections. We were proud to receive the following endorsement
from Phil Woodhead at Fusion21: “We are delighted to welcome all of the
new suppliers onto the framework, including Delco Safety. The tender process
was highly competitive and the process has identified the best contractors for
our members to use.” "A further, real benefit to our members and their communities is the social value delivery that is aligned to organisational priorities and can be monitored and reported against for all call offs.”
Our experienced Asbestos Surveyors hold the BOHS P402 certificate, and we use a UKAS registered laboratory to carry out analysis of all material samples taken during surveys.

BAFE
We are BAFE Life Safety Fire Risk Assessment SP205 registered
company. BAFE 205-1 has been developed for organisations that
provide Life Safety Fire Risk assessment services for others. This
scheme is designed to give assurance to those commissioning fire
risk assessments and give confidence in the quality and relevance of
the services being provided. It is essential that the fire risk assessor
is a competent person, and the fire risk assessor has a duty of care
to the organisation on which legislation imposes a requirement for
the fire risk assessment. We are further evaluated annually in order
to ensure we are providing a consistently high standard of service to
our clients.
SafeContractor
We are SafeContractor accredited.
ISO 9001
Delco Safety is certified under the Quality Standard ISO 9001. This
means that we consistently review and monitor the quality and
